Ms Brenda Bezuidenhout
Brenda is an accredited Clinical Research Associate and has gained diverse Clinical Trial Experience.

Brenda completed her qualification in General Nursing and Midwifery in 1979, at the Johannesburg and Barbeton Hospitals. Brenda started her career in Clinical Research in 1997, when she started working as a Study Coordinator. In this time she study co-ordinated for an extremely busy cardiologist and participated in ten studies. Brenda worked on numerous trials and gained knowledge of different types of studies, as well as disease entities. Brenda was trained as a Clinical Research Associate in 2005, completing on-line and face to face training for UCB and Allergan respectively. The courses covered all aspects of Monitoring Duties and the SOP training was extensive ranging from Good Clinical Practice, Investigator Budgets, Investigational Products, Site Selection, Initiation and Close out Visits as well as Fraud and Misconduct.  She attained an aggregate of 80- 90 % for both courses.

Adele Raats
Adele matriculated from Stellenberg High School in 1995. She studied at Stellenbosch University, where she completed BSc Consumer Science cum laude, in 2000.

She started her career working as Nutritionist at Strand Pharmacy, where she completed the Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant course. Thereafter, she worked as Medical Representative for 4 years.

She started practical training as Clinical Research Associate in October 2007 and completed CRA training via on-line courses. She joined Virtus Clinical Development in April 2008.
