Roger has more than 30 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry of which more than 20 years were spent with Sandoz (now Novartis), where he held several senior positions within the organization in Switzerland, Canada, Indonesia and South Africa. The past 10 years, Roger has been instrumental in the development of a number of small to medium sized companies in USA, Canada and South Africa. He holds or has held senior executive and board positions within some of the companies,
He is also involved with biotechnology developments in South Africa as well as being an adviser to some biotechnology companies based in Canada and Switzerland. He is a member of the Institute of Directors, South Africa.
Roger obtained his degrees in mechanical engineering and business management from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. Other postgraduate studies include economics at Concordia University, Montreal and business strategy at Columbia University, New York.
Roger is a member of the Western Cape Branch of the Institute of Directors (IoD).
The IoD is a membership institute for directors and leaders in the private and public sectors, dedicated to improving their expertise, professionalism and status.

Jonathan obtained his MD degree from Queen’s University, Kingston,
Ontario, Canada in 1980 and was certified in neurology by the Royal
college of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1985. He held a
position in the faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa,
Ottawa, Canada, as an assistant professor, where he ran a clinical
research program in Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. For
twelve years he ran a clinical trials unit in dementia, conducting
clinical trials in all phases of development. Jonathan currently
holds the position of Chief Medical Officer, Prime Trials Inc.,
a clinical pharmacology unit in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Prior to this he held the positions of Vice President, medical Affairs
and Vice President, Clinical development for CroMedica Global Inc.,
a global CRO. In these roles he was responsible for the integration
of CroMedica’s global medical operations team and led CroMedica’s
early clinical development programs worldwide.
